We are proudly rooted in the Rio Grande Valley, where our entire leadership team lives, works, and serves. As survivors and advocates, we have dedicated ourselves to raising funds and building support through the strength of our community. Every event, donation, and partnership reflects the heart of the RGV with neighbors helping neighbors.
With the support of local families, businesses, and volunteers, we work tirelessly to provide financial assistance, support groups, care packages, and essential resources to those facing breast cancer. Our mission is powered by the compassion of this region, and together, we are making sure that every patient in need feels seen, supported, and never alone.
Our Mission
Beyond the Ribbon is more than a nonprofit. It is a community built on compassion, hope, and action. Rooted in the belief that no one should face cancer alone, we are committed to walking alongside local patients not only at diagnosis, but through every step of their journey.
Led by breast cancer survivors who understand this path firsthand, we know that a diagnosis is only the beginning. That is why we stand beside patients through every stage of their fight, offering the love, understanding, and connection that only lived experience can provide.
While raising awareness matters, our mission goes deeper. Through uplifting events, meaningful outreach, and strong community partnerships, we provide direct financial assistance to ease the burdens of treatment because healing takes more than medicine; it takes LOVE.
